While the ammo is very powerful, in a semi-automatic such as this Smith, recoil isn’t as bad as you would expect and in reality, based on our own shooting of it, is actually quite manageable and nowhere near as violent as we thought it would be. The M&P10 features a manual thumb safety, a 4.6″ barrel and a capacity of 15-rds per mag of which 2 are included.
